Welcome to the Stephenson Mid County Sportsmen’s Club!
We are located in Stephenson, Michigan.
The Stephenson Mid County Sportsmen’s Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization that promotes firearms safety, shooting sports, archery, outdoor education and wildlife conservation. The club was established in 1946 when property was donated to create a firearms shooting range for area sportsmen. Since then, an additional firearms range, an archery range with elevated platforms and 3D targets, and many other upgrades were added.
With a dedicated group of members, certified instructors and Range Safety Officers (RSOs), the club promotes classes including Hunter Education, Firearms Safety and Concealed Pistol License (CPL). We also host a variety of events, such as, an Archery League, Pistol League and .22 Rifle League.
In addition to shooting sports, the SMCSC promotes all outdoor activities, including area fishing, boating and off-road vehicle events and education. To do this we partner with other outdoor clubs, businesses and governmental organizations.
Annual club memberships run from January 1st – December 31st. The club holds monthly board meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except July.
